Job Scope & Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Assistant Key Account Manager to support our growing business in the FMCG sector. This role involves supporting key account activities, coordinating marketing promotions and roadshows, building strong relationships with retail partners, and taking charge of our vending machine sales channel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Promotion Support
  • Coordinate and execute in-store promotions and brand activation campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment of promotional materials and timelines.
  • Monitor effectiveness of promotional activities and prepare post-campaign reports.
  1. Event & Roadshow Execution
  • Organize and manage roadshows, sampling events, and product launches.
  • Oversee logistics, manpower, and inventory for events.
  • Engage directly with consumers to increase brand awareness and product trials.
  1. Retail & Supermarket Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarket and retail partners.
  • Coordinate promotion setup, product displays, and point-of-sale materials in stores.
  • Visit retail outlets regularly to ensure brand visibility and gather market insights.
  1. Sales Support
  • Assist the Key Account Manager and sales representatives in day-to-day operations and sales reporting.
  • Support the sales team in promotional planning and execution at the store level.
  • Track sell-out performance and provide market intelligence.
  1. Vending Sales Management
  • Take charge of the vending machine business, including monitoring sales performance, restocking, and machine maintenance coordination.
  • Identify new vending locations and negotiate placement opportunities.
  • Analyze vending sales data and recommend strategies to drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in FMCG, sales support, trade marketing, or vending operations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and basic sales reporting tools.
  • Willing to travel locally and occasionally work weekends for events or roadshows.
