Drafter

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to support our projects by producing accurate technical drawings and coordinating closely with designers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drawing & Drafting

Prepare 2D/3D drawings (layouts, sections, elevations) based on project/site requirements and sales requests
Modify product profiles and develop new designs in 2D/3D based on management.
Prepare as-built drawings based on final site conditions
Convert design concepts into accurate technical/shop drawings for production and installation
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and site requirements

Design & Project Coordination

Liaise with project managers and sales team to align drawings with design intent
Revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and client requirements
Support submission drawings and documentation when required

Documentation & Detail Accuracy

Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions
Ensure all drawings include accurate measurements, materials, and specifications
Check for discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions

Site & Production Support

Work closely with production/installation teams to ensure drawings are buildable and practical
Assist with updates to drawings based on site measurements or changes
Support coordination between office and site teams
Attend tender meetings and technical discussions meeting when required

Requirements

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp & Excel (Revit is a plus)
Interpret main contractor (Maincon) and PE specifications to produce technical drawings aligned with company products
Able to speak and write English fluently
Ability to read architectural, structural, and M&E drawings
Strong attention to detail and good coordination skills
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred (junior roles welcome)

Skills & Competencies

Comfortable handling multiple small projects simultaneously
Prioritise work to meet submission timeline
Able to work independently with guidance from designers or managers
Willing to support both design and operational coordination tasks
