Operations & Trade Pricing Executive

Our esteemed client in the Transportation/ Logistics industry is seeking an Operations & Trade Pricing Executive to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Operations & Trade Pricing Executive
• Location: Central
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Salary Package: Basic + Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end international trade processes for global shipments, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate smooth cargo clearance and delivery.
• Manage and verify critical shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Prepare necessary import/ export permits and trade declarations.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients regarding pricing inquiries and shipment updates.
• Support the negotiation process with global partners to secure competitive shipping rates.
• Assist in sourcing and onboarding new overseas agents or service providers to expand operational reach.
• Keep abreast of international customs regulations and trade policies.
• Ensure all shipment activities adhere to global import/ export laws.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, such as shipment delays or customs inquiries.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, trade operations are preferred. Inexperienced candidates with a strong academic foundation or internship experience are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
• A basic understanding of international trade or logistics processes is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and engage in pricing and operational discussions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
