THE COMPANY

Our Client is a renowned organisation in the Semiconductor industry with a strong presence worldwide. They are looking for a R&D Operations Director to lead their team in Singapore and across APAC, reporting to the General Manager.

THE ROLE

The R&D Operations Director is responsible for:

Lead multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, software, process) in developing Semiconductor capital equipment.
Drive product innovation, technology road mapping, and strategic IP development.
Collaborate with product management, operations, and customers to translate requirements into scalable, manufacturable solutions.
Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resource allocation with a focus on time-to-market and cost optimization.

REQUIREMENTS

Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management or related field
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with at least 5 years in R&D or operational leadership roles
Proven track record of successfully launching Semiconductor capital or contract equipment manufacturing products
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
