Job Description
About the Role
As a Social Media Intern at the Mega Media team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our digital marketing efforts in creating, curating, and managing content for our growing portfolio of clients.
This position is ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ins and outs of social media marketing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Conceptualize and create engaging and on-brand content
- including captions, visuals, and short videos
- using design tools like Canva or CapCut
- Schedule and publish posts according to clients’ content calendars
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and track audience interactions
- Conduct research on trending topics, hashtags, and industry trends
- Compile weekly or monthly performance reports and provide insights for improvement
- Support the team in brainstorming campaigns and client marketing initiatives
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field
- Passionate about social media, digital trends, and creative storytelling
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut)
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a team environment
- Hands-on experience managing real brand social media accounts
- Mentorship and guidance from experienced digital marketing professionals
- Exposure to end-to-end content planning and campaign execution
- A portfolio of work to showcase your creativity and strategic thinking
