Social Media Assistant (Flexible/Part-Time - Fresh Experience Welcome!) - Toa Payoh

Founded by seasoned speaker, lawyer, and coach Zulhafni Zulkeflee, we empower individuals and organisations to excel in their high-stakes settings with public speaking, negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities- Content Planning & Ideation: Lead RhetoriQo's online presence by (i) maintaining a clear calendar for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, and (ii) propose daily post ideas - including videos, images, and captions - that align with our coaching mission, based on research trends and industry topics
- Video Production & Editing: Capture, edit, and polish videos (e.g., Reels, TikToks, stories) optimized for trend relevance, engagement and credibility-building - with an opportunity to work within the public speaking and communication sector
- Platform Management & Community Engagement: Lead RhetoriQo's social media growth by managing our content across our social media platforms (e.g., schedule and publish content according to best posting times), monitoring performance, and refining strategy based on analytics
- Analytics & Strategy: Experiment with different content formats (e.g., storytelling, teaching snippets, behind-the-scenes) to learn what resonates, by tracking engagement, reach, or other key metrics
- LinkedIn Outreach Management: Assist with LinkedIn networking by (i) sending connection messages and tracking prospects, and (ii) managing lead lists for outreach campaigns
Qualifications
We value an openness to learn and experiment, over experience - if you have the following traits below and are up for a new challenge, we would be happy to chat with you:
- Proficient in content editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.) and general office tools (e.g., Google Docs/Sheets, Excel, Email)
- Strong awareness and curiosity of social media trends, particularly on Instagram/TikTok
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
- Keen to try new things and have an eye for creativity
- Self-motivated with the ability to propose ideas and follow through independently
- Previous/proven experience in content creation or social media roles is a plus (but not necessary) - if you are new to this, share with us how would you go about with learning and growing in the role!
- Contract/part-time role: 3–4 hours/day, flexible schedule
- SGD $10–15/hour
- Remote and/or hybrid (Singapore-based preferred) (e.g., you may be required to follow along for our training programmes or sessions)
- An independent work scope and creative space to work with us in building our marketing presence
- Work directly with a highly experienced public speaking trainer and coach, within the training and coaching industry
- Potential opportunity for longer-term roles and development
