About The Role
CNW Courier Network is a leading name in the logistics industry, dedicated to providing seamless and efficient supply chain solutions. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Airfreight Operations Executive to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our airfreight operations, ensuring the smooth and timely processing of shipments. You will be a key point of contact for our global partners and play a vital role in upholding our commitment to operational excellence.This position requires working on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, to support our 24/7 global network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Coordination: Manage and coordinate all aspects of inbound and outbound airfreight shipments, ensuring timely collection and delivery.
- Permit Declaration: Prepare and submit customs permits and ensure compliance with all Singapore Customs regulations for air cargo.
- Documentation: Process and handle essential shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), commercial invoices, and packing lists with high accuracy.
- System Updates: Perform real-time data entry and updates into our in-house Transportation Management System (TMS) to ensure shipment visibility for all stakeholders.
- Global Communication: Liaise effectively with overseas offices, agents, and partners to provide shipment status updates and resolve any operational issues.
- Customer Service: Address inquiries from customers and provide timely and professional support.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in airfreight operations or a similar role within the freight forwarding/logistics industry is preferred. Candidates with relevant diplomas or certifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills (Permit Declaration): Knowledge of Singapore’s customs procedures and experience with permit declarations via TradeNet is highly advantageous.
- Skills (Technical): Proficient in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and standard office software.
- Attributes:
Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
Meticulous and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a global team.
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work Schedule: Willingness and ability to work on a rotating shift basis, which includes weekends and public holidays, is a mandatory requirement for this role.
