Job Description:
The Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager will oversee the full spectrum of financial management for Therme Group’s Singapore portfolio. This includes statutory reporting, complex project accounting, and maintaining internal controls as the Singapore entity scales its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Full Spectrum Accounting: Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore entities, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing cycles.
- Financial Statements: Prepare statutory financial statements in strict accordance with SFRS/IFRS.
- Taxation: Oversee all tax-related matters, including GST registration/filing and corporate income tax compliance.
- External Stakeholders: Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless audit processes.
- Project & Development Finance
- Cash Flow Management: Maintain detailed 12-month rolling cash flow projections to support construction milestones, capital calls, and liquidity requirements.
- Budgetary Control: Establish and enforce rigorous project budgetary controls to track expenditures, monitor cost-to-date, and mitigate budget overruns.
- Systems & Process Excellence
- Digital Transformation: Drive operational efficiency through the optimization of key financial systems such as SAP Concur and Xero.
- Governance Framework: Refine and manage the local Delegation of Authority (DOA) to ensure an agile yet controlled spending environment as the team grows.
What We Are Looking For:
Your Qualifications & Experience:
- Professional Background: A degree in Accountancy or a relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) with at least 3 years proven experience in finance and accounting.
- Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with key financial systems such as SAP Concur and Xero is essential. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau) for financial reporting is highly advantageous.
- Industry Context: Experience in real estate development, construction, or infrastructure projects will be viewed favorably.
