A leading APAC financial services platform is expanding its Institutional Sales team in Singapore. This is a pure hunter role focused on originating new institutional business across Singapore, China and selected ASEAN markets. Coverage includes sophisticated clients such as High Frequency Trading firms (HFT), systematic quant hedge funds and institutional asset managers.

The role involves full-cycle sales ownership, from prospecting and relationship development to onboarding and ongoing client coverage. Candidates from institutional sales or client servicing backgrounds with direct client relationship ownership may be considered, provided they demonstrate strong commercial drive and a clear hunter mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Originate and develop new institutional client relationships across APAC markets
  • Manage full sales cycle of prospecting, pitching, onboarding and account growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with HFT firms, systematic hedge funds and asset managers
  • Provide support on trading setup, execution workflows and market access solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and client servicing
  • Deliver against revenue targets and sales KPIs
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and industry engagements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or its equivalent
  • Experience in institutional sales, capital markets or client servicing
  • Must have exposure to institutional clients (HFT, quant hedge funds, asset managers)
  • Strong hunter mindset with ability to originate and close new business
  • Strong knowledge of Asian equities and derivatives
  • Bilingual capability to effectively engage with clients across Greater China markets
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment
