Note: This is an ON-SITE ONLY position in Singapore. You MUST be located in Singapore and be legally permitted to work in Singapore to apply. This is a primary and secondary English teaching position, not a pre-school position. Fresh grads welcome.
About the role
We are seeking a passionate English Tutor to join our team at Phi Learning English in the Marine Parade Central Region. As an English Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality English language instruction to primary/secondary school students, helping them to develop their skills and reach their full potential.This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners.
What you'll be doing- Designing and delivering engaging English language lessons tailored to the needs of individual students
- Providing personalised feedback and guidance to support students' academic growth
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes
- Collaborating with parents and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on student progress
- A degree in English or related
- Prior teaching experience is a plus but not required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for education
