Job title: Senior Executive, Business Development
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Senior Executive, Business Development to spearhead our growth efforts by promoting CFS’s suite of training programmes. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence across corporate, government, and education sectors.You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective clients, and converting leads into long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities to grow enrolment in CFS training programmes.
- Drive lead generation efforts through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct client discovery meetings to understand learning needs and propose suitable training solutions.
- Deliver engaging sales pitches and product demos to HR professionals, L&D managers, and decision-makers.
- Craft tailored proposals, quotations, and respond to RFPs in collaboration with internal teams.
- Foster long-term relationships with stakeholders across HR, L&D, and senior management levels.
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with campaign strategies.
- Stay abreast of competitor offerings, market shifts, and industry trends to refine go-to-market approaches.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across in-person, blended, and digital learning programmes.
- Ensure smooth transition from sales to customer success teams while maintaining client engagement for future renewals or programme expansions.
- Participate in Roadshow, Fairs to get new potential collaboration and translate into clients.
- Other ad-hoc jobs.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Strong track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets, especially in training, education, or services sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
- Proficient in Canva, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools.
- ACTA/ACLP certification will be an added advantage.
