Contract Role (Renewable)

Salary range: $3500 - $5000 + Performance Bonus

Working location: Ang Mo Kio + Client sites

Working days and time: Mon – Fri (8:30am-6pm)

Job Descriptions:

Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers in a data centre environment
Perform end-to-end system setup, including OS installation, server configuration, and deployment
Configure and support network setup (IP addressing, VLAN, basic firewall and connectivity)
Set up and manage virtual machines (VMs) using platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security
Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and VM-related issues
Support data centre operations, including hardware installation, rack & stack, and cabling
Work with internal teams and vendors for implementation, upgrades, and maintenance
Maintain documentation for system configurations, network setup, and changes

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in System/Infrastructure Engineering
Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems (e.g., Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS)
Experience in system setup, server deployment, and configuration
Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, routing fundamentals)
Hands-on experience in VM setup and virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiar with data centre operations (rack & stack, cabling, hardware setup)
Able to troubleshoot independently and support operations
Willing to work in a data centre / on-site environment
