We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise in kitchen preparations within a high-performing central kitchen that supports multiple dining outlets and large-scale banquet events.
Job Duties:
- In charge of requisition of ingredients for daily functions and ensure the all items are available according to the stock order list.
- Ensure requisition for the next day's function is submitted timely and accurately.
- Ensures high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety are always maintained throughout all kitchen areas including cold rooms, freezers and butchery shop.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of food so as to keep wastage/spoilage to a minimum.
- Constantly strive to improve his level of kitchen knowledge under the guidance of his immediate supervisor.
- Ensure that all operating equipment are clean, in good working conditions and advise supervisor to raise repair and maintenance request when necessary.
- Perform duties in other areas of kitchen as assigned.
Talent Profiles:
- Minimum GCE 'O' Level or Professional Certificate in Culinary, or relevant.
- Minimum 3 years work experience preferably in a hotel or professional kitchen.
- Responsible and hardworking.
- Willing to learn and coachable.
- Maintain highest standards of professionalism, ethics, grooming and attitude.
- Food safety & hygiene training certified.
