Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience in Fire Safety Engineering (FSE) and/or Fire Protection Engineering (FPE). The role will involve leading performance-based designs and fire strategy development, with opportunities for leadership responsibilities in projects across Singapore and the region.
Responsibilities- Lead and deliver fire safety engineering and/or fire protection engineering designs for diverse projects
- Develop and implement fire strategies, performance-based designs, and prepare detailed technical reports
- Perform or support fire engineering analyses, including CFD and evacuation modeling
- Design, review, and coordinate fire protection systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, and alarm systems where applicable
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Support business development activities by contributing to project proposals and client engagements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years (Executive) or 5–8 years (Senior Engineer) of relevant experience in fire safety engineering or fire protection design
- Experience in either Fire Safety Engineering (performance-based design, CFD, report writing) or Fire Protection Engineering (sprinkler, hydrant, alarm systems)
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as Singapore Fire Code and NFPA
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Fire Safety Engineer accreditation
- Candidates with strong Fire Protection Engineering background and willingness to learn Fire Safety Engineering
Other Information
Work Location- Role may be based in Singapore or Malaysia depending on candidate profile and project needs
- Malaysia-based candidates will support Singapore projects remotely
- Short-term overseas travel may be required for regional projects
- Progression into Project Lead or Technical Lead roles
- Opportunities to take on team leadership and project management responsibilities
- Participation in new business unit growth such as FSE/FPE expansion
- Potential for profit-sharing and/or equity participation based on performance and long-term alignment
