Senior Engineer-Hardware Design

• Testing and validating hardware components such as PCBs, circuits, and electronic systems.
• Conducting detailed troubleshooting of electronic systems and ensuring they meet specifications.
• Performing functional and endurance tests on power electronics (SMPS, DC-DC, DC-AC) to ensure product reliability.
• Documenting test results, preparing reports, and communicating.
• Collaborating with the R&D and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues.

CURRENT MAJOR CHALLENGES FOR THE POTENTIAL HIRE TO RESOLVE:

• Dealing with the increasing complexity of hardware systems, especially with evolving power electronics and EMI/EM requirements.
• complex hardware failures during rigorous testing, particularly under stress conditions (temperature, voltage variations).
• Ensuring compliance with strict industry standards (e.g., EMI/EMC, surge protection).
• Managing time efficiently to meet tight project deadlines while maintaining high testing accuracy.
• Continuous learning and adapting to the rapidly changing technology in power electronics.

• Expertise in power electronics (SMPS, Flyback, Buck, Boost, DC-DC, DC-AC) and hardware testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment like Oscilloscope, LCR meter, Multimeter, and power analyzers.
• Strong understanding of EMI/EMC testing and surge protection methodologies.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with a focus on circuit analysis and hardware development.
• Familiarity with hardware design documentation and reporting, along with proficiency in MS Office tools for analytics and presentations.
