Assistant Production Manager

We are seeking a highly capable Assistant Production Manager to support and manage daily production operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in tracking and improving operational KPIs to meet company targets
- Oversee day-to-day operations of production lines, production control & planning
- Manage manpower allocation, chemical processing activities, and equipment maintenance
- Ensure production schedules align with Technical, QA/QC, NDT, Sales, and customer requirements
- Maintain effective communication across all departments to ensure operational alignment
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and production output
- Ensure efficient plant and equipment operations with the production team
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and safety committee requirements
- Maintain 5S housekeeping, safe working conditions, and proper chemical handling and waste disposal
- Support staffing requirement planning and workforce allocation across production lines
Requirements
Education:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production shopfloor environment with the aerospace industry
Good to Have:
- At least 3 years in Aerospace industry in supervisory positions relating to operations.
- At least 3 years of chemical processing experience including but not limited to anodizing, electroplating, chemical cleaning, etc.
