CNC Turning/ Milling Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files. Input machine parameters and program settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for efficient and accurate machining.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in CNC machining or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience operating CNC turning and milling machines. Experience with Fanuc Control machine,is a plus.
• Proficiency in using various measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on machine performance and production status.Perks
