The Strategic Business Partner in the Corporate Communications and Branding team will act as a trusted advisor to internal Business Units (BUs) - evaluating, prioritising, and aligning their comms, marketing and branding needs with the organisation's overarching strategy, reputation, and long-term growth.

He or she will also undertake key organisational projects that advance the organisation's brand.

  • Strategic Business Partner: Act as the dedicated business partner for BUs, understanding their operational priorities, business models, and objectives, and advising them on effective communications and marketing interventions. Partner well with Corporate Communications team specialists to bridge the gap between strategy and creative execution.
  • Brand Cohesion & Alignment: Ensure that all media relations, digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, and communications efforts are well coordinated, delivering a unified and consistent brand voice across all public touchpoints.
  • Proactive Reputation Management: Identify reputation-building opportunities and coordinate between different BUs for whole-of-organisation initiatives that advance the organisation's brand and leadership.

Qualifications

You should have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience, with a stellar track record in strategic account management, brand consulting, or corporate communications (agency or in-house).
  • Proven ability to navigate, influence, and manage relationships with diverse, senior internal stakeholders, showing a strong grasp of how branding, PR_, digital marketing, and content work together to achieve business goals
  • Possess the professional maturity and executive presence to guide specialist teams toward successful, timely execution.
  • Possess big-picture thinking, look beyond basic project servicing, and prioritise actions that build long-term corporate value and organisational growth.
  • Good presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a strong and structured approach to planning, executing, and closing initiatives. Effectively manages timelines, resources, and project risks while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
