The Vision

Data centers are no longer just about floor space; they are the engines of the AI revolution. Our client is building the infrastructure that powers the next generation of High-Performance Computing and hyperscale deployments.

They are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect who thrives at the intersection of complex mechanical & electrical (M&E) engineering and strategic commercial growth. If you can translate 10MW+ requirements into bespoke cooling architectures and lead technical narratives for the world's most ambitious tech giants, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a primary technical consultant, this role will bridge the gap between commercial objectives and technical delivery. You won’t just be answering RFPs; you will be a trusted advisor to enterprise and hyperscale clients, designing the "white space" layouts, power distribution, and advanced cooling strategies (including Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling) that make their IT roadmaps possible.

• Design Bespoke Solutions: Architect tailored colocation environments, optimizing for power density, PUE/WUE efficiency, and constructability.
• Lead the Technical Narrative: Own the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring our value proposition is articulated with precision.
• AI & High-Density Advocacy: Provide expert guidance on hardware deployments, specifically focusing on integrating liquid cooling for AI-ready infrastructure.
• Cross-Border Liaison: Act as the vital technical link between our Singapore commercial hub and the Malaysia project delivery teams.
• Technical Evangelism: Lead deep-dive site tours for client engineering teams, showcasing the resilience and innovation of YTL facilities.

• The Expert: You have 5+ years of design or technical consulting experience, with at least 2 years deeply embedded in the data center colocation or hyperscale space.
• The Engineer: You hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and possess a deep understanding of UPS topologies, chilled water systems, and backup generation.
• The Communicator: You can navigate a room of IT Directors and Commercial Executives with equal ease, translating M&E complexities into clear business value.
• The Strategist: You understand the SE Asia data center landscape and have supported large-scale (10MW+) wholesale deals.

• Professional engineering accreditation or industry certifications (Uptime Institute ATD, CDCP, etc.).
• A passion for green data center initiatives and sustainability metrics.
