Scheduler (Marine Operation) - Jurong West

Our client is seeking a Marine Operation Scheduler to join their team!

About Our Client

Our client is a one-stop marine logistics specialist company.

• Process orders: Handle order processing for Marine Lubricants customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate deliveries: Liaise with vessel agents, project managers, ship chandlers, and masters to arrange smooth deliveries.
• Customer service: Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal departments, providing excellent communication.
• Manage barge operations: Plan and assign daily delivery schedules to barge crews, optimizing supply logistics.
• Monitor barge movements: Conscientiously track barge movements to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Handle barge-related tasks: Manage various miscellaneous matters related to barge operations.
• On-call duties: Participate in rotation to manage duty phone for urgent matters after office hours.
• Support team objectives: Assist with any other ad hoc duties assigned by superiors to contribute to overall team success.

• Tech-savvy professional: Proficient in MS Excel and SAP, with the ability to leverage these tools for efficient work processes.
• Team player: Demonstrates excellent collaboration skills and contributes positively to the team dynamic.
• Fast and accurate worker: Capable of working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Adaptable organizer: Well-organized with the ability to adapt to changing work processes and priorities.
• Education: Minimum Diploma in any discipline, showcasing a commitment to learning and personal development.
• Availability: Able to commence the role within 1 month or less, ready to hit the ground running.
• Open to all experience levels: Candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply, as we value potential and enthusiasm.

Other Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Basic Salary $2800 - $3200, Entry level will be $2200 - $2600
• Company Transport pick up from Jurong East MRT
