Job Responsibility

The Operation Marine Officer is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the maritime fleet, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The role involves coordination of vessel activities, maintenance scheduling, crew management, and providing operational support to senior officers.

• Assist with coordinating vessel movements, ensuring timeliness and compliance with operational standards.
• Monitor the vessel's adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and maritime regulations.
• Support vessel maintenance schedules and reporting, ensuring the fleet is operational and well-maintained.
• Assist in logistical coordination of cargo, fuel, and other necessary supplies for vessels.

Crew Management:

• Assist in managing crew schedules, including shifts, rotations, and compliance with maritime labor regulations.
• Support the training and development of new or junior crew members.
• Monitor crew performance and report any issues to senior officers.

Safety & Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and implementation of safety drills, ensuring adherence to maritime safety guidelines.
• Ensure vessels are compliant with all environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspections and report any operational, safety, or maintenance concerns to senior officers.

Customer Service and Communication:

• Liaise with external stakeholders (clients, port authorities, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely operations.
• Assist with documentation and communication related to shipping schedules, cargo handling, and vessel operations.

Operational Support:

• Provide support to senior officers and management in any ad-hoc operational tasks.
• Prepare reports related to vessel status, crew performance, and operational efficiency.

Miscellaneous:

• Participate in company-wide operational projects as directed by senior management.
• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by senior officers.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 1–2 years in a maritime or operations-related role.
• Skills: Knowledge of maritime regulations and vessel operations.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in maritime software and systems (if applicable).
• Certifications: STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) certification or equivalent.Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate (if applicable)

Able to work in shifts/ Overtime / Weekend duties
