A Construction Supervisor
manages daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by overseeing workers, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety, maintaining quality, and communicating with all stakeholders, bridging the gap between management, engineers, and the on-site crew.Key duties involve planning, scheduling, site inspections, managing materials, troubleshooting issues, and documenting progress to meet project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Site Management: Oversee daily activities, manage resources, and maintain a productive work environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and direct construction crews and subcontractors, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Safety & Quality: Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring high-quality work compliant with plans and standards.
- Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate schedules, manage material orders, and ensure work stays on track to meet deadlines.
- Communication: Act as the primary liaison between management, engineers, workers, and vendors, reporting progress and resolving issues.
- Documentation: Maintain daily logs, reports, and records of all site activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
