Gas Systems Engineer / Assistant Engineer (TCGM)

• Support the TCGM Manager in the daily execution and operations of gas system management at client sites
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operations and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules and SOPs
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure system integrity, operational safety, and regulatory compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to gas systems, including gas cabinets, valve manifold boxes (VMB), and valve manifold panels (VMP)
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to workplace safety policies and operational standards
• Liaise with clients on operational matters, attend meetings, and provide updates on work progress and performance
• Monitor system performance and prepare reports, including analysis of operational and quality metrics
• Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Coordinate logistics and ensure adequate supply of materials within regulatory and permit limits
• Support manpower planning and allocation for efficient operations
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to team members; coordinate required safety certifications and training
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards across all operational areas
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline

• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply and will be considered for the Assistant Engineer position
• Candidates with relevant experience in gas systems, TCGM, or similar industrial operations will be considered for the Engineer position
• No minimum years of experience required — seniority level will be assessed based on qualifications and experience

• Basic understanding of gas systems operations and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and system schematics
• Prior experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of gas systems (e.g. gas cabinets, VMB, VMP) is an advantage

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
