MANAGING DIRECTOR
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Managing Director to lead and oversee the overall operations, strategy, and growth of our trading company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business performance, market expansion, financial management, and leadership of senior management teams.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic & Business Leadership
Define and implement the company’s vision, mission, and long-term strategy
Drive business growth, profitability, and market expansion
Identify new trading opportunities, products, and markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners
Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day trading operations, logistics, procurement, and sales
Ensure efficient supply chain management and cost control
Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and legal requirements
Financial & Risk Management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
Ensure strong cash flow, margin control, and risk mitigation
Review and approve major contracts, investments, and expenditures
Work closely with finance and audit teams to ensure accurate reporting
People & Governance
Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and department heads
Build a high-performance, ethical, and accountable company culture
Report to the Board of Directors and provide strategic updates
Ensure strong corporate governance and compliance standards
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 10–15 years of senior management experience in a trading company
Strong knowledge of import/export, commodities, supply chain, and international trade
Proven track record in business growth and profit management
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills
Strong financial and commercial acumen
