Finance Executive / Senior Executive

Job Summary

The Finance Executive is a hands-on operational role responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities for local and overseas entities. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will support financial reporting, compliance, and cross-border accounting functions while ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.

This role requires a proactive individual with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Exposure to global accounts is an advantage but not mandatory — the ideal candidate is eager to develop international accounting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-set accounting for assigned entities
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger integrity and supporting schedules
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules

• Handle accounting for overseas subsidiaries or branches
• Support intercompany billing and reconciliations
• Assist with foreign currency transactions and exchange adjustments
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax agents in various jurisdictions
• Ensure compliance with group policies and local statutory requirements

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare management reports and financial schedules
• Assist with consolidated reporting requirements
• Provide variance analysis and explanations

• Assist with tax filings (VAT, GST, corporate tax, etc.)
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience in multi-entity or overseas accounting is an advantage
• Strong Excel and accounting system knowledge
• Candidates with more years of experience can be considered for an Accountant role
