Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager (Geotechnical) shall oversee and lead the site investigation, instrumentation, and monitoring operations to ensure compliance with standards and deliver high-quality technical outcomes. Manage a team of engineers to process data and produce accurate reports, while collaborating with clients and stakeholders to drive project success.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Site Investigation & Instrumentation Monitoring (SI & IM) department to achieve project objectives and maintain operational excellence
- Supervise engineers in processing data and preparing detailed technical reports to support project deliverables
- Develop, plan, and oversee site investigation activities including drilling, rock coring, sampling, and field testing to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
- Plan, supervise, and validate instrument installation and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity and compliance with technical standards
- Review, approve, and ensure accuracy of data, technical documents, reports, and drawings to meet project and regulatory requirements
- Ensure site investigation, instrumentation, and monitoring inspections conform to relevant standards, normative documents, and general requirements
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients, their representatives, and relevant authorities to provide project updates and address technical findings
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to quality procedures and operational systems to enhance efficiency and compliance
- Accept additional responsibilities as required to fulfill the department’s objectives and company goals
- Possess a Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an institution recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore or recognized institutions acceptable for application as a Resident Engineer in Singapore
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and monitoring
- Valid Geotechnical Instrumentation for Engineers Certificate issued by the Geotechnical Society of Singapore (GeoSS)
Proficient knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Statutory Standards, and Regulations including ISO 17020:2012, BS 5930:2015, BS EN 1997 Part 2:2010, BS EN ISO 14688/9, and BS 14688/9
