Senior Project manager Investment Banking

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master with strong techno-functional expertise in Investment Banking and Retail Banking. The ideal candidate will drive large-scale transformation initiatives, lead Agile teams, and deliver high-impact projects across digital and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale banking and financial systems
Drive Agile/Scrum practices, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Manage risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements (KYC, onboarding, etc.)
Deliver process automation and digital transformation initiatives
Oversee system upgrades, patch lifecycle management, and infrastructure improvements
Ensure successful implementation of data reporting, BI dashboards, and analytics solutions
Track KPIs, monitor project performance, and provide regular reporting
Handle stakeholder communication, escalations, and governance

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
10+ years of experience in Project Management within Banking/Financial Services
Proven experience as Scrum Master / Agile Coach
Strong expertise in Investment Banking / Retail Banking domain
Experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
Hands-on experience with process automation and digital transformation
Strong knowledge of KYC, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
Experience in QA, test management, and process improvement is a plus
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
BI Tools: Power BI
DevOps/Tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Autosys, Control-M
Testing: Selenium, ALM, LoadRunner, Cucumber
Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, SRE, Lean

Delivered automation solutions reducing operational costs significantly
Led KYC onboarding projects handling large client volumes (50K+)
Implemented enterprise-wide system upgrades and patch automation
Built microservices-based architectures for scalable systems
