About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager to join our team in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing key customer relationships, and expanding our presence within the oil & gas sector.

This role requires strong industry knowledge, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the oil & gas industry.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, key accounts, engineering consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract discussions, and tender submissions.
  • Coordinate with technical, engineering, operations, and project teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
  • Support strategic business development initiatives and market expansion plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with contractors, refineries, petrochemical plants, offshore operators, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industrial products, solutions, or services used in oil & gas applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Willing to work in Shanghai, China.
