Trader (Fertilizer, Commodity Trading Industry) - Geylang

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with fertilizer producers and customers in China and SEA
• Manage contract flows and maintain strong customer engagement
• Understand full fertilizer supply chain and product fundamentals
• Analyze trade flows and raw material production processes
• Identify and evaluate investment and trading opportunities
• Conduct due diligence and build financial models for strategic opportunities
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on structured transactions
• Attend industry events and conduct site visits
• Build supply-demand models, trade flow databases, and market forecasts
• Deliver regular reports and monthly market analysis to management
• Conduct pricing and cost model analysis; maintain robust research infrastructure
• Support senior manager in managing fertilizer trading book and derivatives
• Execute trades and maintain broker relationships
• Assist in pricing analysis and refining physical pricing databases
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Trading, Financial Derivatives, Banking or Finance or related field
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in physical commodity trading role, preferably with fertilizer commodities
