The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be instrumental in translating the Managing Director’s strategic vision into operational execution. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial leader who thrives in a lean environment and can build structure and momentum from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Implementation
Working closely with the Managing Director, the Chief Operating Officer will play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic priorities. The COO will be responsible for converting the overarching business objectives into actionable operational plans, ensuring that each initiative is tracked against set milestones to drive measurable progress and support the company’s growth trajectory.
Business Development Support
The Chief Operating Officer will actively contribute to assessing new business opportunities and potential partnerships, as well as exploring innovative operational models.
Governance & Compliance
The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for ensuring that all outsourced service providers adhere to regulatory and compliance standards. Additionally, the COO oversees the maintenance of comprehensive documentation and reporting protocols across all operational functions to support transparency and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, with an MBA being highly desirable. They should possess 10 to 12 years of operational experience, demonstrating strong project management and execution capabilities.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills are essential for success in this role.
