HR & Purchasing Assistant Manager

To report directly to General Manager in HR & Purchasing functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
HR functions:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Purchasing functions:
- Develop and implement Purchasing strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Reviews and processes purchase orders to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Researches and evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, pricing and services
- People oriented and results driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of MOM guidelines, Employment Laws and HR as well as Purchasing best practices
- Degree in Human Resources, supply chain management, logistics or related field with 5 years working experience as HR cum Purchasing Manager
