About the role
As a well-known and well-established Food Manufacturer with retail fronts, we are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager (Commercial) to join our team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in managing the commercial team to drive new business development and expanding our commercial partnerships.

What you'll be doing- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new commercial partnerships and contracts
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached
- Lead and manage the Commercial team to drive targets and sales results
- Oversee the implementation of new commercial initiatives and partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business development strategies
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on the progress of commercial initiatives
- Minimum 8 years of experience in new business development, commercial sales, or a related field
- Proven track sales record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business deals
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of the sales process, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
