Our client is a leading Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the supply of high-quality tools and equipment. They are currently seeking an Application Engineer to lead research initiatives and provide process development support to their customers.

• Provide process development support to customers.
• Conduct in-house application test cuts and provide on-site technical support to customers.
• Handle and follow up on customer claims related to abrasive products.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with engineers based in Japan.
• Participate in company-organized activities and initiatives.
• Promote strong interdepartmental collaboration and teamwork.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers.

• Fixed Bonus (Up to an equivalent of 1 month) in March

• 14 Days, 2nd year
• 15 Days, 3rd year
• 16 Days, 4th year
• 18 day

• Up to a maximum of 21 days and staff is able to bring forward a max of 14 days

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or any other engineering discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in Process Engineering/Research and process development support to customers in the Semiconductor industry
• Good technical knowledge of blade, wheel, and laser applications and support
• Inexperienced candidates with a strong interest in Application and Process Engineering, eager for new challenges, and good communication skills are encouraged to apply
• Candidate should be experienced in handling improvement or development side upon customer request
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for business needs (Such as presentations and forecasting)
• Willing to travel and work overtime when required.

• Possess knowledge or working experience in Dicer / Grinder/ Laser is preferred
• Experience working in a Japanese company
