About the role
This role contacts new prospects and assigned customers, where required, to sell company products and services within a designated territory. Focuses on meeting assigned sales budget, new business development, maintaining customer relationships and troubleshooting specific customer problems.Has solid knowledge of AMOS products and services across AMOS, characteristics and market(s), benefits, value and potential. Uses excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience to drive customer commitment and revenue growth at the right margin.
What you'll be doing
Sales Management- Owning and achieving annual sales budgets within new/assigned accounts.
- Ensure adherence to global sales policies, processes, and guidelines.
- Secure buy-in from key customer stakeholders and maintain optimal relationships across account teams.
- To drive profitable sales growth for the allocated customers across all sectors of responsibility.
- Develop and deploy growth strategies in conjunction with Operations and (Key) Account Managers across the designated territory.
- Drive growth of the allocated accounts by ensuring appropriate collaboration across all functions.
- Identify and pursue new/existing customers via lead generation activities, including cold calls and planned visits.
- Strengthen customer relationships by engaging with key decision-makers and navigating customer hierarchies.
- Effectively navigates the customer’s hierarchical structure, establishing himself or herself as a trusted advisor at multiple levels.
- Focus on selling value-added solutions and managing customer contracting, compliance checks, and agreement renewals.
- Review sales pipeline, top-line revenue, and margin performance, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Review and manage customer credit and payment in close cooperation with AMOS’ Account Receivables team.
- Attend regular review meetings with Head of Sales (HOS).
- Review account pipeline (including RFQ’s), activities and performance using Salesforce (CRM).
- Review new opportunities, new business, loss business and new competition on a regular basis and take corrective actions, where applicable.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and yearly customer business reviews, ensuring well-prepared meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Support HOS in ensuring minutes from Strategic Reviews are distributed to all relevant stakeholders and corrective actions are followed up.
- Escalate concerns or complaints to the HOS timely.
- Develop a personal network within the business sector and represent AMOS at events, obtaining market intelligence and enhancing visibility.
- Adhere to company processes and procedures and utilizes the Salesforce and other tools to document customer interaction, needs, and business projections.
- Use Salesforce for documenting customer interactions, needs, and business projections, ensuring effective customer retention and business development.
- Collaborate cohesively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Secure compliance with AMOS’ sales governance
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager from time-to-time.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field/ discipline
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Sales or Business Development role in a medium-sized global organization
- Experience in PPE industry will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within the sales field.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales tools is a plus.
- A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills.
