About the role
Soon San is seeking an experienced Logistics Scheduler to join our growing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods and materials within our distribution network, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to our customers.The role is based at our office in Kampong Ubi, Central Region.
What you'll be doing- Quickly answers calls and emails, schedules and confirms jobs, and inputs customer data into company systems
- Manage daily operations of the route and distribution activities of the fleet to ensure that customers, assets and service requirements are employed efficiently
- Communicates delivery schedule to drivers daily.
- Monitor jobs completion to ensure compliance and completion.
- Tracking, data entry, and filing of records and paperwork.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics scheduling or supply chain planning role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimise complex logistics workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures and industry best practices
- Expected to work beyond official working hours by resolving problems over the phone.
