Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Based in Singapore)

Responsible for product design and development using 3D CAD software and other simulation tools
- Responsible for product assembly and testing and buyoff
- Execute mechanical piece part design, process and tooling verification
- Implement product and process improvement
- Perform proper documentation including DCN, SOP, user manual, piece part, pneumatics drawing, design drawing etc
- Coordinate design phases, transfer and project scheduling
- Responsible for new module and new machine design independently and review junior engineer’s design
- Responsible for evaluation and generate analysis report independently and review junior engineer’s report
- Master on machine operation and working principal
- Translate customer's requirement into design specification, evaluate design feasibility and provide technical expertise to exceed customer expectations
- Guide & coach development engineers and ensure knowledge sharing
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned by the Company from time to time with on time full closure
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering /Mechatronics with second upper class or above
- Strong in mechanical design, material selection and metal/plastic fabrication process
- Well versed in SolidWorks software
- Knowledge in equipment & machine design, test integration, test socket & probe design, test process, mobile transport design or industrial robotics is an added advantage
- Good working relationship and positive work attitude, self-motivated with ability to work independently and in team environment
- Innovative, creativity and hardworking
- Strong technical leadership, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive thinking and willing to provides extended support to customer
- Enjoy learning new things and willing to accept new challenges
- Good semiconductor process knowledge, IR technology or industrial robotics is an added advantage
- Good project management skills
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience is required
- Experience in design & develop die bonder equipment
