Job Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team. This role is key to expanding BitCask’s presence across key markets, managing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through our unique cask investment and bottling offerings.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-value sales, relationship management, and luxury product positioning - ideally within the spirits, beverage, fintech, or alternative investments industries.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and engage prospective clients, with a focus on HNWIs, family offices, financial advisors, and luxury brand partners.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and manage collaborations with distributors, event partners, and corporate clients for custom bottlings and cask investments.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop deep, lasting relationships with clients and partners, offering tailored solutions aligned with their investment and gifting goals.
- Pitching & Presentations: Craft compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations, delivering them confidently to stakeholders at all levels.
- Market Expansion: Explore and establish entry into new regional and international markets, guided by research and competitor analysis.
- Event & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to represent BitCask at industry events, private tastings, and luxury showcases.
- Product Insight: Work closely with internal teams to shape offerings that resonate with premium audiences, ensuring sales strategy aligns with product capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships - preferably in luxury goods, spirits, fintech, or alternative investments.
- Strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to close high-value deals.
- Deep understanding of client lifecycle management, lead pipelines, and CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of the premium whisky market and luxury consumer behaviour is a plus.
- Driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for whisky, luxury products, and/or emerging investment categories.
