Management Associate (Healthcare – Portering & Environmental Services)

Role Overview

As a Management Associate (Healthcare Operations), you will support the daily operations of Portering and Environmental Services to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality support services for patients, clinicians, and the hospital community. You will work closely with Operations Managers, Nursing/Clinical stakeholders, and frontline teams to drive service reliability, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

• Support daily portering and environmental services, manage manpower, workflows, and ensure service excellence even during peak or disruption periods.
• Be part of safety, housekeeping, and infection control audits, support incident investigations, and help foster a strong safety culture.
• Work closely with nurses, clinicians, and hospital teams, support service recovery, and turn feedback into action.
• Contribute to process improvement, Lean initiatives, digitalisation, and pilot new systems and workflows using data-driven insights.
• Support onboarding, training, and competency tracking while engaging frontline teams in continuous improvement.

• Diploma / Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Studies, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
• Internship or project experience in healthcare, facilities, operations, or service industries will be an advantage.
• Strong interest in healthcare operations and patient-centric service delivery.
• Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• 5 / 5.5 / 6 days work week with flexibility to support hospital operations when required.
• Rotational shift exposure may be required to understand ground operations.
• Based within a hospital or healthcare facility.
