Regional Operations, Strategy, and Country Sales Manager

This role will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market sales strategy for SEA, ANZ, and drive sales operations discipline to meet planning timeline, revenue forecast accuracy and pipeline hygiene. This role will also lead a high-performing team of sales professionals to achieve revenue and unit targets in Singapore, while also contributing to regional sales planning and operations.

The position will carry a commission-based incentive plan tied to individual and team performance KPIs of Singapore.

Job Description:

The role has two key functions

Defining growth strategies for the SEA, ANZ markets (region) and leading operations for the region. As part this responsibility the candidate will need to lead strategic account planning and territory segmentation, collaborate with the regional planning team on forecast and pipeline health, and ensure alignment with the stakeholders in the countries and the region on overall strategy and execution.

The candidate will also ensure discipline and compliance on sales and marketing operational tasks for the region.

Defining and executing to a growth strategy for Intel's sales goals in Singapore, while leading an experienced and energetic team of sales, technical and marketing professionals in Singapore. As part of this responsibility, the candidate is tasked with defining and executing to a growth strategy for Intel in Singapore that cuts across all segments (Commercial, Consumer, SMB, Govt and Education) and products (CCG, DCAI and ECG) that Intel caters to.
It will require the candidate to establish deep relationships and a position of trust with Intel's wide swathe of ecosystem partners including end customers, SI partners, OEMs, Retail partners, Distributors and Channel Partners. The candidate will need to have a deep interest in the technology, keep abreast with Intel's products, roadmaps and innovations, and be knowledgeable about latest industry trends.

The successful candidate should feel equally at ease in representing Intel to the C-Suite of Intel's customer / partner base - both technical and sales, as well as in influencing policy with Government and Industry bodies. This role will need to consistently meet and beat quarterly sales and marketing KPIs, which span both billing and consumption deliverables for Singapore.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building growth strategies for Intel's consumption business in SEA and ANZ
  • Maintaining operational discipline for the regional (SEA and ANZ) teams on sales processes around KPI/ OKR setting, SFDC pipeline management, key deals, SI sales motion etc.
  • Envision, plan, and execute strategies for growing all aspects of the business including both direct billing's revenue and technology consumption across all of Singapore's industry and government sectors.
  • Be the voice of our customers both internally and externally to promote and engage a growing, creative, innovative, and diverse customer base.
  • Collaborate on marketing strategies and execution to build on the world-class Intel brand and accelerate demand in the Singapore market.
  • Build strong, productive relationships with government, business associates, including OEMs, distributors, value added resellers, retailers, independent software vendors, developers, and system integrators to foster innovation and achieve Intel objectives for Singapore.
  • Lead and develop a high performing and healthy sales team including account executives, retail sales, field applications engineers and partner account managers for Singapore.
  • Manage business consumption, channel and retail sales motions to drive IA preference thru various internal Intel programs in Singapore.
  • Willingness to partner closely with his or her team in Singapore to drive change and challenge the status quo.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to encourage One Intel mindset to drive shared goals across teams.
  • Manage day to day execution to deliver on short term business goals for Singapore.
  • Collaborate proactively and effectively with internal business units, regional and corporate stakeholders to communicate local market trends, threats and opportunities as well as secure needed support to execute to a well-defined strategy for Singapore
  • Coordinate efforts across Intel's business groups to establish clear country priorities and execution.
  • Role modelling and cultivating the highest levels of integrity, ethics, respect and inclusion.
  • Maintain a governance model that keeps the country legal and in compliance with all Intel policies and regulations.

Also, you must possess and demonstrate, the following skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making.
  • Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills in English. Knowing Mandarin in addition will be an added qualification.
  • Experience of client computing business with understanding of the broad PC client and Data Centre and AI ecosystem.
  • Understanding of distribution and channel business with experience managing sales teams.
  • Well-versed in salesforce.com report and dashboard creation and tracking.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 years of sales and marketing leadership experience including:
  • Proven track record delivering geo sales and organizational results within complex and highly matrixed global corporations.
  • Technical competence in the portfolio of Intel products and solutions including emerging products and services.
  • Strong global leadership skills demonstrated with direct reports, matrix reports, and senior key business partners to deliver sales and organizational results.
