IT & Technical Design Coordinator (Interior Woodworking & Surveillance Systems)

This role requires a candidate who can work across technical drawings, interior fit-out coordination, and on-site IT and CCTV implementation. The position is designed for candidates with practical, hands-on exposure rather than purely office-based IT roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, interpret, and coordinate AutoCAD drawings, including structural and interior fit-out drawings
• Understand and support interior woodworking designs, including cabinets, partitions, feature walls, and custom joinery
• Assist in translating design drawings into site-ready layouts considering structural elements
• Identify structural components (columns, beams, slabs) relevant to interior and system installation
• Plan and support CCTV installation, including camera placement, cable routing, and system layout
• Provide basic networking and IT support related to surveillance systems and site connectivity
• Coordinate with designers, site supervisors, and installers during renovation execution
• Prepare technical notes, drawing mark-ups, and coordination documentation
• Attend project sites to support installation, testing, and coordination activities

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, with ability to read and identify structural drawings
• Practical understanding of interior woodworking and joinery design
• Ability to coordinate interior design intent with structural and site constraints
• Experience supporting CCTV systems and basic networking infrastructure
• Comfortable working in active renovation and construction site environments
• Ability to work across design, technical, and site coordination functions.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in renovation, interior fit-out, or construction-related projects
• Familiarity with CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVRs, network configuration)
• Ability to understand sections, elevations, and detailed interior drawings
• Exposure to coordination between designers, engineers, and site teams

The position requires multi-skill involvement across IT, design coordination, and on-site execution.
