Bukit Merah - Assistant Director (Brand Story-Telling & Creative Strategist)

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and creative professional to take on the role of Assistant Director, Brand Storytelling. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the development of strategic narratives that raise public awareness and understanding of key initiatives in the infocomm, media, and technology sectors.
You will be responsible for ideating, shaping, and executing brand campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with organisational goals. This is a leadership role that requires both creative vision and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders to deliver integrated storytelling campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead thematic brand narratives that communicate the organisation’s purpose and value.
- Translate complex initiatives into clear, relatable messages for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with internal departments to distill messaging into cohesive brand stories.
- Partner with creative and media agencies to conceptualise and deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Manage content strategy and execution across digital platforms including website and social media.
- Use audience insights and research data to shape campaign direction and communication approaches.
- Ensure alignment with brand values and manage potential brand impact through messaging strategy.
- Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders effectively to drive project outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in creative agencies or client-side roles managing agencies.
- Proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of brand development, audience segmentation, and media consumption patterns (B2B and B2C).
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and creative thinking skills.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to deliver on-brief, on-time, and on-budget.
- Knowledge of content production processes across different media channels is advantageous.
