Key Account Executive (Forwarder, Quotation) - Toa Payoh

The Opportunity

Adecco is partnering with a Singapore-HQ company led by industry veterans with extensive experience in shipping, logistics, and freight forwarding. We are looking for a Key Account Executive to join their business!

You will manage a portfolio of accounts, specializing in import, export, and cross-trade quotations. Your role will cover the entire order fulfillment cycle, from liaising with clients and sourcing competitive rates to providing quotes, tracking inquiries and shipments, and collaborating with our operations team on shipping documentation.

• Permanent, Full-time opportunity
• Location: Central region, Red Hill
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Salary: up to $3800 basic + Mobile Allowance + VB

• Attend and handle customers' enquiries/ complaints based on sales/customer management knowledge.
• Source and gather tariff, rates, costs and/or quotations from agents/vendors/carriers/airlines and perform data entry.
• Advise customers on tariff/rate/cost/quotation requirements and eligibility.
• Understand and analyse customer logistics service needs to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
• Perform data entry for freight services.
• Manage the complete documentation for shipping consolidation activities, transshipment and transloading operations and specialised cargo in a timely manner.
• Manage the complete documentation checks in accordance with internal SOPs, government regulatory requirements and legislations to identify non-compliance.

• Min 3 years of working experience in the logistics / freight forwarding industry
• Able to work with various internal and external stakeholders
