Job Description:
Operational Logistics Strategies- Execute logistics strategies on daily operations matters.
- Manage the integration of vehicle tracking system with logistics workflow and procedures.
- Manage daily operational logistics workflow and procedures.
- Fleet management – Planning and executing.
- Develop solutions to address gaps and weaknesses in logistics operations.
- Collaborate with third party transporter to streamline the delivery process.
- Supervise the Planners in the planning and delivery of logistics need to meet customers’ needs.
- Monitor lapses in logistics delivery services
- Resolve any customer issues and inquiries
- Supervise the Planners in the post-delivery operations to ensure all needful paper documentation are met
- Review the policies, standards and procedures
- Supervise the daily workflow and procedures.
- Supervise workshop engineer with spare and consumable inventory.
- Maintain timely maintenance of Vehicles and ISO tankers.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics operations.
A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Experience and proficiency in requirements management, business analysis and solution definition.
Proficiency in English (Writing, reading and speaking) is a mandatory.
Proficiency in Chinese, Malay and/or other languages will be highly preferred for communication with customers from various backgrounds.
Proven expertise in managing end-to-end logistics operations, driving improvements, and developing sustainable solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills to resolve customer inquiries effectively and ensure high service standards.
Skilled in influencing and collaborating with internal teams, third-party transporters, and external vendors.
Ability to train, motivate and supervise multidisciplinary logistics teams.
