Assistant Manager, Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct competitive price comparisons and benchmarking across industry offerings to ensure pricing strategies remain competitive and profitable
• Analyse customer requirements and cost structures to develop accurate, data-driven pricing models for proposals and quotations
• Maintain and update pricing databases, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and accuracy in all quotations and proposals
• Prepare competitive and compelling proposals, tenders, quotations, and presentations for customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements
• Manage and grow business opportunities from an existing portfolio of customers, ensuring continued engagement and satisfaction
• Build and nurture strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions
• Achieve sales forecasts and revenue targets as set by management
• Provide regular updates and reports to management on the competitive landscape, industry trends, and any new developments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
• Proven track record of managing key accounts and solving client-related issues
• Experience as an Estimator will be advantageous
• Demonstrates a dynamic and positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint to design and deliver persuasive presentations
• Outstanding verbal, written communication skills, outgoing and capable of building strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams
