Job Title: Marine Procurement Officer

The Procurement Officer will oversee the procurement and supply of goods and services for allocated vessels, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate inventory tracking.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage procurement activities for allocated vessels, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services
- Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate requisitions, quotations, and purchasing approvals
- Generate and process purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system while liaising with suppliers for confirmation
- Oversee dispatch and delivery logistics, balancing efficiency with operational urgency
- Track and review GRN from vessels to verify deliveries, promptly process invoices, and maintain accurate procurement records
- Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and outstanding transactions, providing regular reports to procurement management
BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Logistics Management or Maritime Studies preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems for procurement processes
- 3 to 4 years of experience in ship management procurement preferred
- Strong negotiation skills, resourceful, proactive, and a team player
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
