Job Summary

Drive business growth by researching and developing new market opportunities for Cohu’s semiconductor solutions. Build and maintain customer relationships, execute sales strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet revenue goals.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities including markets, customers, partnerships, and products to expand Cohu’s solutions into new accounts
  • Generate leads by identifying and contacting appropriate customer stakeholders and conducting cold calls to prospective clients
  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and new customers to increase revenue and customer loyalty
  • Analyze customer needs and develop tailored plans to effectively meet those needs with Cohu’s product offerings
  • Develop and implement business sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of Cohu’s products and services to advise customers and internal teams accurately
  • Train team members on product knowledge and sales techniques, arranging external training when necessary
  • Conduct sales forecasts and analyses, preparing and presenting findings to senior management and the board
  • Achieve assigned business goals and objectives within the designated territory
  • Coordinate with finance, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
  • Identify and propose improvements to business operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and industry events to promote Cohu’s solutions and network with stakeholders
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Experience in application or sales of semiconductor final-test equipment or contact solutions
  • Knowledge of semiconductor testing and test-contacting methodologies
  • Strong understanding of the semiconductor industry, market landscape, competitor offerings, business practices, and customer requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and effective team player
