IT Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for front-office Equities technology.
• Act as Scrum Master champion, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Engage with front-office traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the product backlog to ensure development readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency within agile teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks related to equities application development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years total work experience with minimum 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in Equities applications within an investment banking front-office environment.
• Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office technology systems.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with Equities applications, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, FIX protocol, messaging systems (e.g., Solace), and data analytics platforms.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
• Certified Project Manager is preferred.
