Storage Technical Project Manager(Hitachi)

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for storage infrastructure projects.
• Project Execution: Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on storage infrastructure solutions, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance project delivery efficiency.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects, specifically storage infrastructure.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of storage infrastructure solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Worked on Hitachi VSP, G1000, G1500,5500.
• Experience on Hitachi Command Suit 8, HNAS
• Hands on experience on HCS, Storage navigator, OpsCenter
• Worked on Pool-to-Pool Migrations,
• Hands on Experience on LDEV Creation and Allocation.
• New Host Registration and Storage Array adding in HCS.
• Handle all the L2 level Tasks and Troubleshooting on HCS.
• Adding LUN paths and editing LUN paths.
• Experience on Creating Host Groups and provisioning.
• Configured Replication technologies True copy, HUR and GAD, Shadow image.
• Participated on Microcode upgrade,
• Configuration Horcm for TC, HUR, and GAD replication techniques
• Hands on experience on Decommission the server like delete LDevs and host
