The Opportunity
Leading and developing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) falls under the Business Development Manager's responsibilities. The team builds new sales pipelines by targeting and assessing valuable accounts.
You will have a chance to create a significant impact in the success by leading a high-performing team. You will also play a pivotal role in driving the critical demand generation engine for the Asia Sales organisation.
What You’ll Do- Build strong business relationships with all collaborators (AEs, Sales Managers/Directors, Marketing Managers/Directors, etc.) to deliver company goals, vision and strategy
- Operate on a solid foundation of operational excellence, strategic alignment and efficient practices
- Ensure opportunities being generated by BDRs are of the highest quality and will survive through to booking
- Drive performance against individual targets for team members, conduct ongoing regular mentoring & performance evaluations
- Drive the use of a variety of channels such as AI, social media, internet, web-based tools & outbound calling for pipeline generation
- Support and mentor your team on outbound prospecting techniques including support on email template generation and AI insights
- What You Need to Succeed:
- 10+ years SaaS technology industry experience and 5+ years’ experience leading Sales or Business Development teams in Enterprise organisations
- Comfortable guiding sales professionals through all parts of business development such as call mentorship, professional email writing, objection handling, thoughtful planning, and more.
- Ability to build and run frameworks to successfully lead BDRs that are embedded in cross-functional “pod” team structure with sales and marketing
- Experience with enterprise selling motions in sophisticated multi-product businesses with high value deal sizes
- Experience in leading diverse remote teams across different regions and experience levels
- Bilingual will be a bonus – Mandarin, Korean or Bahasa
