Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving the Provision Profit Center's EBIT and sales target for the local Singapore office.
- Responsible for the procurement strategies for Provision in Singapore and international markets to achieve sales and EBIT targets
- Manage international provision data to ensure accuracy and consistency for informed decision-making
- Analyze global market provision rates and estimate local pricing for key products to optimize cost competitiveness
- Conduct and maintain thorough supplier due diligence at onboarding and throughout the supplier lifecycle
- Align departmental resources and capabilities to maximize performance and sales output in the Singapore office
- Oversee supplier management to safeguard company interests and foster strong supplier relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify operational gaps and drive process improvements
- Manage ERP system entries for price lists, default suppliers, and supplier registration to streamline procurement operations
- Negotiate contract prices and discounts by sizing supplier volumes and consolidating local suppliers
- Motivate and influence the team to build strong cross-departmental collaboration and maintain a positive, passionate work environment
- Recognize and evaluate team members’ contributions and performance through regular meetings and appraisals
- Execute company policies fully and participate in all company-organized trainings to enhance management capabilities
- Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in marine, offshore, FMCG, or international trading environments
- Experience in international sourcing, procurement of provisions (i.e. frozen, fresh & dry goods), supplier negotiation, and global procurement management
- Proven commercial acumen with a strong understanding of market dynamics and pricing structures
- Leadership skills with the ability to plan effectively and manage stakeholders
- Analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese are required to translate and localize technical content
